'Scottish' breakfast in Copenhagen
GRØD, otherwise known as porridge to Danes is all about...porridge. There are four locations scattered around Copenhagen, one of which is in Torvehallerne, a wonderful place filled with tonnes of foodie wonders.

Despite the name, they also do all sorts of risotto dishes, chia pudding and more, mixing traditional and exotic tastes.

I opted for the caramel, almond and apple porridge, and an americano. You can choose to either sit in or take away your meal. I chose to sit in as I was starving and for an extra 5DKK I could sit in with a little extra. For the quality of the food, the prices are reasonable for Copenhagen. The coffee also competes with most decent breakfast spots around the city.

You'll find some of their porridge products in various supermarkets and 7-Eleven stores, but I'd personally stick to their fresh food as it tastes miles better!

Torvehallerne is probably my favourite spot in Copenhagen, with a buzzing atmosphere, and plenty to choose from.
