Illum Rooftop, You Have to Visit!

The long awaited rooftop at the beautiful department store, Illum, finally opened up earlier this year.

I have spent many a summer night up there, taking in the atmosphere with a glass of wine and good food.

First things first.. if you're on a budget, then eating up here won't be for you. You can however grab a cup of coffee or a beer and still take advantage of the beautiful view over parliament. So far, i've noticed that Rossopomodoro, an Italian restaurant with seating both indoors and on the terrace, is the best bet if you're looking for something that's reasonably priced. Then again you are in Copenhagen, so I would say that the prices are relatively competitive for the city.

You'll find steak, seafood, healthy stuff, coffee, Italian food, and quite a few other things up on the rooftop.

All menus are listed on the webpage, under each restaurant.

Whatever you decide to do, you can't really go wrong with taking a quick trip up the elevators to have a look over the city.
